Can you introduce yourself and tell us how your artistic journey began?
My artistic journey began after returning from a wellness retreat that I attended to work through deep feelings of abandonment. At the time, something within me felt trapped, as though I were caught in a repeating loop, unable to move forward in the direction my soul was calling me toward.
During that retreat, I was stripped down to my foundations and mentally reset. It was a transformative experience that challenged me to confront parts of myself I had long avoided. When I returned home, I continued that inner work, committed to understanding myself on a deeper level and embracing the changes unfolding within me.
As new energy began to emerge, I felt compelled to channel it into something tangible. That calling led me to painting. What started as a personal outlet—a way to express and move energy that words could not fully capture—slowly evolved into something much greater. Each painting became a reflection of my transformation, a visual record of awakening, healing, and self-discovery.
What began as a private practice has grown into a story I am now honored to share with the world.
What ideas, experiences or emotions inspire your artwork?
When you embark on a journey to rediscover not only who you are, but what you are capable of beyond the limits of your own mind, the world begins to open in ways you never imagined. The path of transformation—one I am still walking—is rarely easy. It asks you to confront your fears, question old beliefs, and move beyond the boundaries you once accepted as truth.
Each of my paintings carries a theme and a story. Together, they form a visual diary of my journey—capturing the moments when I felt lost and alone, as well as the moments when I discovered the strength that had been within me all along. They reflect the challenges, revelations, and inner shifts that have shaped my understanding of myself and the world around me.
Through this process, I have come to see that our emotions are not obstacles, but guides. They reveal where we are, what we need to heal, and the direction in which we are being called to grow. The emotion that has remained constant throughout my journey is determination—the unwavering desire to move beyond fear, transcend self-imposed limitations, and continue walking the path of my soul.
My work is an expression of that journey: a testament to the power of transformation, self-discovery, and the courage to become who we were always meant to be.
How would you describe your creative process and the materials you use?
When I create a new piece, I draw inspiration from my experiences. Sometimes it comes from a conversation with a stranger, and other times from a scene in a movie that lingers in my mind. Inspiration is woven into everyday life because life itself is the experience. We absorb its lessons, both consciously and unconsciously, and carry them with us as we move through the world.
My creative process is simple. All I need is a canvas and paint. Before I begin, I take a quiet moment and place my hand on the canvas, allowing myself to connect with the energy, emotion, or insight I wish to capture. From there, I surrender to the process. I let go of expectations, trust my intuition, and allow the painting to reveal itself.
Each piece becomes a translation of something felt rather than spoken—a moment, a lesson, or a state of consciousness given form through color, movement, and expression.
Is there one artwork that is especially meaningful to you, and what is the story behind it?
My painting, We Bloom On, tells the story of my growth through deep inner work—a journey that led me into an era of awakening. It reflects the unfolding of a new chapter in my life, one guided by higher possibilities, greater self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of how I move through the world with love, compassion, and empathy for others.
When I finished this piece, I cried. In my heart and soul, I knew it symbolized both an ending and a beginning. It marked the closing of a chapter where I constantly sought validation outside of myself, and the opening of one where I learned to nourish my own spirit and trust in my path.
This painting is a reminder that true growth begins when we stop searching for our worth in the eyes of others and start breathing life into our own beliefs, gifts, and potential. We Bloom On represents the moment I chose to believe in myself—not only for who I had become, but for everything I am still becoming.
What are you currently working on, and what do you hope to explore in the future?
I am now entering a season where I am sharing my work more publicly, allowing both my art and my story to be seen. Alongside exhibiting my paintings, I have begun speaking openly about the transformation that inspired them—the changes I have made, the challenges I faced, and the path that led me here.
My podcast began before any of this took shape and serves as a living record of that journey. As it continues to grow, it creates a deeper connection between my audience and my artwork, offering insight into the experiences, lessons, and awakenings that have influenced my creative process.
Today, I am far less afraid of being seen. I have learned that vulnerability is not a weakness but a bridge that allows others to recognize themselves in our stories. I am passionate about sharing my experiences because if my journey can help even one person feel less alone, more understood, or more empowered to follow their own path, then every step has been worthwhile.
